It was a huge honour (and thanks to one of my clients) to be asked some great questions about leadership this morning. I’d love your feedback.

- What major changes in workplace leadership have you seen in the last 25 years?
- Do you think leaders need to treat the younger generation differently than others, or do you think leaders need to treat all workers better today?

The big shift from when I entered the workplace? I feel like now there’s this sense that there are FUN jobs, and then there’s the jobs everyone else has to just suck up and do. Maybe it’s Millenials driving it, I don’t know. Based on the organizations I’ve worked in, younger leaders seem to feel this need to be “fun” (doesn’t necessarily work out every time). Leaders at big, entrenched companies with lots of mileage under their belts often seem more jaded (been-there-done-that-didn’t-work).
